Paper Smooches New Challenge-I am all over it….like ants to a picnic
Well, as I mentioned before in my posts, my “new stuff” drawer is messy and overflowing. When I was young and my whole room was messy, my Mother would say it looked like “Fibber McGee’s Closet”. I just realized now, that I accepted that phrase, unquestioned, hanging my head and nodding slowly. Not anymore. Today I bravely ask, “Who the ^&*# is Fibber McGee?”. Turns out, it comes from a 1941 movie, Who is Laughing Now starring Jim Jordan. In that famous scene (well at least famous in my Mom’s mind), Fibber opens a closet door to look for his briefcase and has an avalanche of things fall out of the closet and on to his head. I am in no danger of having THAT happen as my “New” drawer is the lowest one on the shelf, but I decided to take something out of the drawer and use it. That way, it can be moved to my “Used but not out of Ideas in my Head Drawer”. This drawer, like my head, is not as full.
So on to the challenge from Paper Smooches for this week. It is an Anything Goes theme, so I decided to use my new Flatware 2 die set.
Here is the result:
