Stampin Up Envelope Liners

Have you ever bought a big paper pad because it was on a super sale and you get it home and the paper is just too flimsy to use for cards?  Well I certainly have.  The other night I was looking through the Stampin Up catalogue and noticed their envelope liner dies.  It occurred to me that this lighter patterned paper could be put to good use as envelope liners if I had these dies.  I  visited my local Stampin Up Demonstrator, Jennifer Reynard, and moments later I was the proud owner of these dies.  I have found that they are very easy to use and fit several of the envelopes I already had in my stash ( some required a little snip here and there).  I will be ordering some more envelopes from Stampin up, because these liners fit those envelopes perfectly.  My idea is to make some of these lined envelopes up in advance, and to store them by colour or theme.  That way when I finish a card that is to be mailed right away,  I can grab a co-ordinating lined envelope right away.  Alternatively,  I could also just use typing paper dressed up with a stamp from the card I just created(Sunshine sample below).  It seems like a nice finishing touch to a homemade card.

I made some samples to get myself started.
