I recently got the Friendship Jar Fall Fillers from Papertrey Ink.  Their stamps sets are large and chock a block full of different stamps and sentiments that always make them versatile and timeless.  I have been wanting to do something with the Candy Corn stamp ever since I got the stamp set.  Here is the thing………………………….I love the look of Candy Corn….. especially in large quantities.  That obsession led me to buy a huge Costco sized bag of the stuff……………just to look at……………as I don’t actually like taste of Candy Corn.  Never did…………..it was always in my “trade for something edible” pile when I was sorting my haul from Trick or Treating, when I was a child.

With that introduction, I will bet you think I did a card with the Candy Corn stamp.  Well, nope, I fooled you.  The challenge today was to use stripes and I chose a stripe from the Ombre Builder stamp set.  I felt that the Candy Corn would have been too busy and would have competed with the stripes.  Instead, I used the Pumpkins on Sticks stamp.

I am loving the Friendship Jar as a shaker die, too.  It makes constructing a shaker card pretty easy.  It is always fun to make up a unique mix of shaker ingredients .  I used some delightful little orange flowers from the Shakers and Sprinkles Kit and added some dollar store sequins and seed beads.
