Papertrey Ink Make it Monday Challenge Oct 27
The Make it Monday Challenge this week is pearlized blending. At first I was stumped. I couldn’t think of how I could use my Papertrey stamps and this technique in any way other than a moon as shown in the challenge sample. Then the doorbell rang and the mailman solved my problem. It was my new order from Papertrey Ink and included in this “Happy Mail” box was the stamp and die set Warmest Wishes. I realized that I could blend and pearlize the mountains and the trees in the background and thus, presto ( Well OK not quite PRESTO as I did some airbrushing, masking, spraying and pico embellishing which took some time) and this card was created.
Supplies: Papertrey Ink Warm Wishes Stamp and Die sets, Perfect Pearls, Hero Arts Shadow Inks, Copic markers, Copic Air Brush System, Pico Embellisher in Wedding Dress, Imagine Crafts Shimmer Spritz. Simon Says Stamp top folding card base, Scotch foam tape and Scor tape.

What an awesome card! Love the shimmery mountains and the adorable polar bear in his sweater.

Your card is so cute! The shiny mountains in the background really add to the card I also used this set for my blog hop entry. This is my favorite new set!

Yes I love it. Not too many “critter” stamps sets have a graphic feel like this one does.

Those clouds look as though they could lift right off your card! Gorgeous. Airbrush? Wow!
