Make it Monday Challenge- Papertrey Ink November 2

I want to say that I dashed off a quick card for the Papertrey Ink Make it Monday Challenge, but I would be lying again.  Seemingly “quick” is not in my repertoire, so I don’t know why I try.  What I did manage,  is to keep the first draft which doesn’t happen too often.  The whole card is a bit outside my usual style, but I kind of liked the result.

The challenge was to create a Christmas tree using fabric or ribbon strips.  I decided to cut up some embroidery flowers from Prima into tree branches.  I filled in the branches with some tiny tulle bows and some lace with pearls on it.  I don’t know the source of this ribbon.
