Make it Monday Challenge – Splatters

The challenge this week is over at Papertrey Ink’s Make it Monday Challenge is splatters.  Who has not hesitated poised over an almost complete project with sprayer or brush in hand?  You want to put splatters on your project but are afraid that the splatters will turn out to be splotches and the result will look reckless rather than random.  It still happens to me but less often than before.  First of all, I rarely attempt to use a manual sprayer, even one that purports to release nice little droplets all over.  Like many people, I have found at least some measure of control by flicking the plastic tube from the spray bottle, to create larger dots.  I recently acquired two stipple brushes for no apparent reason.  Today I used them to create medium and small splatters, that actually turned out medium and small and reasonably random.  Fabulous.

I actually made two cards so will post both of them.  One will be linked to the Papertrey Ink Challenge.  Still don’t know which one……………..eenie meenie miney moe………….
