Make it Monday Challenge – Using Felt
The challenge at Papertrey Ink this week is to use felt on a project. I am always amazed at how well the thinlet dies cut through felt. Even dies that I have had difficulty with, in cutting paper, have cut felt crisply. It is like magic. There is some times a problem to “keep” the die cut together after cutting, but this is the fault of the felt, not the die. I am guilty of buying the cheapest, poorest quality felt. It should have come with a warning……………no one over 4 years old should buy this product! If you use cheap felt, then at least get the adhesive backed variety. You have a better chance of getting it on your project before it goes all Mission Impossible and self destructs. An even better idea would be to buy Papertrey Ink’s wool felt, so that you have good quality felt to work with in the first place.
Because the challenge is only a week long and it takes far longer to get packages in the mail, I had to make do with my cheap felt. The resulting card has an interesting, appealing look.
Supplies: Papertrey Ink Uncorked dies, Dollar store and Michael’s felt, Teresa Collins sequins,Craftsmith Foil paper, Simon Says Stamp card base and Scor tape.

Deb, you crack me up! And your felt cuts (cheap or not) cut so beautifully, I had to blow up your picture to see it was actually felt! Adorable card!
