Rubber Cement-Papertrey Ink
The make it Monday Challenge at Papertrey Ink is to do a resist technique using rubber cement. I had just been shopping and saw a number of brightly coloured tops that gave me the idea to try the technique using Papertrey Ink’s sweater die. I think it turned out rather well. I found it rather odd that I had no trouble with removing good old Elmer’s rubber cement from the from the finished card, while I have struggled in the past in getting expensive artist grade masking fluid to come off with out pilling the paper. Who knew?
Supplies: Papertrey Ink Sweater die, Elmer’s Rubber Cement, Loew Cornell watercolours, Distress watercolour paper, Hero Arts card base, MME Chalkboard patterned paper, Scor tape
