Papertrey Ink New Release Challenge

I don’ t know quite how Papertrey Ink manages to do this, but somehow during the countdown to the release my resolve not to buy anything more, dissolves into I want it all.  Pretty clever how they do that!

Anyway the challenge is to be inspired by something presented during the countdown and make something from that.  I am always attracted to stamp sets and dies that can be layered and put together in very different ways.  The Sprinkles on Top set and dies meets this criteria very well.  The bonus is I can do some cake decorating with less mess and no calories.  Woo Hoo!

I was inspired by  the cake card I saw on day 3 by Amy Sheffer, and decided to make a similar one using my Ombre Builders and Color Pop Florals stamp set. Although it killed me to cut it up, I used the back side of one of the Color Pop Florals paper so that I could have the nice white linen texture on the cake.
