Taylored Expression Inspiration Challenge

Usually I like to try and combine the Sketch and the Inspiration photo presented in the Taylored Expressions Challenges.  Today though, I had an idea that would not fit into the parameters of the sketch.  In fact, it wouldn’t even fit on a normal sized card.  To make it work it had to go on a long narrow card.  Measurements are 3 7/8 by 9.5 and it fits into a number 10 envelope.

This card involved quite a bit of masking but I think it turned out well and conveyed what inspired me in the inspiration photo.

When I saw this stamp set, I noticed that it had not one but three different trailers that could be used.  I immediately wanted to use all three as it reminded me of some of the crazy rigs I see driving down the highway.  So these rigs usually consist of the Truck/SUV/RV followed by the trailer, followed by a flatbed trailer carrying an ATV or Six bicycles and/or the doghouse.  It is amusing to see such a convoy, but when you have to pass one on a busy two lane highway, not so much (In fact, they are illegal in some provinces but still super cute).  Anyway there wasn’t enough highway on my card to put on all three trailers but if Taylored Expressions ever makes a flatbed trailer and accessories stamp set, as described,  a new highway will definitely be under construction.

Here is the inspiration photo:

  1. Ha! This made me chuckle! I have been stuck behind a setup like this before on a highway. Crazy!!! Thanks so much for joining us for this week’s Share Joy Challenge!
