Moods

Usually, I post cards on this blog in response to a challenge on one of the many Scrapbooking/Cardmaking websites.  Today, though, I am posting this card in response to something my friends have said recently.  Quite often my friend Sandra brings up the evening when I lost it on our trip home from Phoenix.  She says that when she realized  nothing she could say or do was going to help my temper tantrum, she decided to go for a shower.  Recently, I freaked out over a series of weird happenings with my computer and cutting machine, again, while Sandra was around.  This time all she had to say was, “It is time for a shower.”  Now my other bestie Dennis has his own coping mechanism when I have such tantrums.  His expression is,  “It’s time to get out of Dodge.” (If you don’t get this reference, then you are too young to remember John Wayne and old western movies.)

The problem for my besties is that they don’t know when and why these freak outs might occur.   I thought it might be nice if I had a way of predicting when it might happen so that they can be forewarned.

Wouldn’t it be nice if they had a machine that could predict what my mood will be? Here is the card that resulted from me thinking about that.
