Coffee Lovers Blog Hop # 3
This card is for lovers of coffee tea and Downton Abbey. I loved this show and am still crabby that it is over. However, I was able to get the most exquisite papers and embellishments in a Downton Abbey Scrapbook kit from Crafter’s Companion to sooth my wounds.
One of the signature items of the show was the elaborate bell system that alerted the downstairs staff whenever the “entitled” people had a whim. I had this wonderful twisted rope die from Elizabeth Crafts that would work well as the bell cord that would miraculously produce tea in a moment’s notice.
Here is the card:
Supplies: Crafter’s Companion Official Downton Abbey Collection Kit, DCWV gold cardstock, Simon Says Stamp Tea for Three, Simon Says Stamp card base, Scor tape, WeR Memory Keeps Sugar Cookie Alphabet die
Coffee Lovers Blog Hop- Card 2
Still haven’t used the coffee stamp set that I ordered specifically for the blog hop. but the wagons are circling and it won’t be long now.
I was looking through the infamous and bulging “new” drawer for the stamp set mentioned above when I discovered these cute little coffee cup post it notes from Little B. Look no further, I thought………..do something crafty with them.
Because I had the luxury of a full pad of little coffee cups, I could easily set four of them on a table cloth. I agonized a bit over perspective and then just told myself to “Let it go” and get the table set. I have had these little dice for the longest time. They were to be for my numerous Vegas layouts but I realized they were perfect to represent a Yahtzee game with family and friends right here at home too.
If I really want to drive myself crazy there is enough room in the shaker to really shake the dice to see if I can get a Yahtzee!
Supplies: Little B tabs, Lawn Fawn patterned paper, Recollections cardstock, Pico Embellisher, Wink of Stella glitter pen, unknown dice, unknown plastic circle dome, Scor tape and Simon Says Stamp car base.
Coffee Lover’s Blog Hop
I got a new (to me) coffee stamp set specifically for the Coffee Lover’s Blog Hop. It even came in the mail on time which is a miracle in itself. Did I use it today, though? No. Why? Because I also recently got the slider die set from Lawn Fawn and I am having so much fun with it, that I wanted to do a coffee card with it. The size of the images on my Jane’s Doodles Coffee Time set were just the right size.
Here is the card…………………..prepare for CUTENESS OVERLOAD!
Supplies: Jane’s Doodles Coffee Time stamp set, Moxie patterned paper, Bazzill cardstock, Recollections cardstock, Color Fantastik Doilies, Pico embellisher, Recollections enbossing powder, Scotch foam tape, Lawn Fawn Sliders dies, Mama Elephant Creative Cuts label die, Scor tape and Simon Says Stamp card base.
