Coffee Lovers Blog Hop # 5
One of the earliest stamps that I ever bought was a coffee cup gift card holder from Art Impressions. Gift cards were just becoming an alternative for the hard to buy for crowd.
I always enjoy pulling out an old stamp set and giving it a new treatment or technique.
In this case, I embossed a background with a coffee bean embossing folder from Sizzix and then gave it a light sponging treatment. I put a coating of white embellisher on the lid to give it dimension and make it shine a bit. I added a couple of star shaped paper clips to hold the lid of the card down and to keep the gift card in place.
Supplies: Art Impressions Coffee Keeper stamp set, Sizzix Coffee Set embossing folder, Hero Arts dye ink, Pico Embellisher in Wedding Dress, Stampin up corrugated kraft cardstock, Neenah Desert Storm cardstock, Zots 3D dots, Scor tape
