My Favorite Things-2016 Superstar Challenge

This is my last entry into the Superstar Challenge.  This card uses a bit older but still available stamp set and die set.  As I mentioned in the last post, I was at a Scrapbook retreat last weekend, and noted that a friend of mine picked out the same retired My Favorite Things stamp set that I used in that post and used it on the album she was working on.  Same thing happened for the die I used in this entry.  Another friend used the same die set to decorate a layout about our visit to the Coca Cola museum and store in Las Vegas. These two examples show the versatility and staying power of the My Favorite Things and Dienamics products.

My Favorite Things-Superstar Challenge

I realized with a start today, that I had not posted my other two challenge entries to the Superstar Challenge at My Favorite Things.

The first card that I wanted to post is from a retired stamp set called The Beach.  That stamp set was out on my desk from making this challenge entry and so it went with me out to a scrapbook retreat I was on this weekend.  A friend of mine who is new to scrapbooking, picked it out of my huge pile of stamps and used it repeatedly on a Scrapbook album she was working on.  Just shows that great images have staying power and that you don’t always have to be using only the newest stamps.

Here is the card:
