Having Fun with Lawn Fawn
Lawn Fawn is one of my favourite stamp companies. Their latest release is, I think, my favourite of all time. I keep adding to stamps and dies from this release to my must have list. I also love Lawn Fawn because many of the stamps mix and match so well. I can think of an idea and know that the bits and pieces of several sets will fit together to bring my idea on to a card. Such is the card I made today. I have had Sprinkled with Joy since before Christmas as it is a holiday stamp set. Recently, I ordered a coordinating set called Bun in the Oven which is not a Christmas stamp and combined them to make a “Gender Reveal” card that was so much fun to make.
I have ordered Lawn Fawn’s Pull Here and Flip up dies to make making the card easier, but in the meantime I was able to make it with a Papertrey Ink Zipper die.
There is a pull tab on the inside of the card that pulls up to reveal the gender. I am not pulling it up here in the photos because I hope to use this card in a real life “gender reveal” that is coming up in my family.
Take a look:
Supplies: Lawn Fawn Sprinkled with Joy and Bun in the Oven stamp sets, Reminisce In the Kitchen patterned paper, Kaisercraft Basecoat patterned paper, L’il Inker stitched border die, Hero Arts Guess What stamp set, Papertrey Ink Zipper die, Scor tape and Pico Embellisher.
