Coffee Lovers Bloghop Summer 2017 Day 3
Some cards take longer than others to come together. Today’s card for the Coffee Lovers Bloghop took forever and used up a lot of supplies. I almost abandoned the project about three times, but I reminded myself that if I don’t like it, it just means that I am not finished with it yet. And what do you know, at long last I ended up with a “keeper’. It would have been much easier and faster if I had given in to the idea of cutting up my stamps, so that I could fashion the constellation that I wanted, but Jimini Cricket the stamp set was brand new and I just couldn’t do it. Much grumbling and masking later, I finally ended up with the constellations I wanted and a watercoloured sky that I liked.
Supplies: Lawn Fawn Upon a Star stamp set, Concord and Ninth Script Alphabet, Gansai Tambi and Peerless watercolours, Stampendous silver embossing powder, Dienamics Grassy Hills die, Tim Holtz Watercolour paper, Doodlebug coffee stickers, Imagine Crafts Shimmer Spritz, Pico Embellisher, Scotch foam tape, Simon Says Stamp card base and Scor tape

Perseverance paid off…this is wonderful! So clever!
P.S. I actually don’t generally like to cut up my stamps either but today I did that with two of them…I was sweating bullets for fear that I would ruin them….but all is good.
