I received my Hero Arts kit for August on Monday.  The good news for me was that it came so fast this month.  Surprise happy mail, what could be nicer.  What wasn’t so good is that Canada Customs decided to extract their pound of flesh from me.  Paying the  GST (Goods and Services Tax) is not sooo painful, but being charged a $10.00 fee for the government to take their tax IS quite painful.  No matter, I will continue to get the kit because it still offers a lot for the money and it is so much fun to create with.

I think I was inspired by a couple of blog hops I went through online, where designers offered multiple cards on their segment of the blog hop.  As a result, I made three similar but different cards, using the main kit and one of the add-on stamp sets.    The theme of the kit also gave me the opportunity to use some Signs of the Zodiac dies that I had gotten with an older Tattered Lace Magazine.
