Make it Monday Papertrey Ink #323

The challenge on Make it Monday this week is to use a cascading image that lifts from the page.  I originally started looking through my Papertrey stamp sets looking for a leaf or floral image, but when I saw this set I thought it would work well for the idea of lifting from the page.  I don’t think I have ever gotten over my childhood love of paper dolls, so designing multiple dresses sounded like fun.  It turned out to be a little trickier than anticipated because I didn’t have a matching die set.  Armed with my Scan N Cut and my Misti, I was able to get it done.

Coffee Lovers Bloghop Spring/Summer 2018 Day 4

Today’s card for the blog uses a Spellbinder’s die that I have used before in a post.  I was thinking about how the farmers in South America get their coffee beans to market and that made me think of this die.  I decided to use the Andes mountains as a backdrop courtesy of a Lawn Fawn die.  Of course, because I am ridiculous, I decided to have the llama carrying ready to drink hot and cold coffees, rather than beans.  Turned out rather well, I think.
