Make it Monday- Papertrey Ink #342
Well, once again it has been a long while between posts. You would think that I haven’t been spending time in my craft room. In reality, I am there every day making something, except for last week when I was travelling down to Phoenix and stopped to play in Bryce and Antelope Canyons. It seems that I have just neglected to make my projects into blog posts.
Today the challenge on Papertrey Ink’s Make it Monday is to create a bag out of patterned paper. This appealed to me as I am starting to think about Christmas bag and tag ideas. In spite of this, I ended up making a Birthday bag and tag. I found some Papertrey Ink sequin patterned paper in the right size to make a bag, and so the project grew from that. I decided to make a matching shaker tag from Papertrey Ink paper and sequins (Shakers and Sprinkles). I used a MFT balloon die to make the shaker. The Happy Birthday sentiment is also from Papertrey Ink’s Shakers and Sprinkles stamp set.
It was all pretty simple today and if I didn’t keep losing stuff in my messy craft room, it could have been made and posted in minutes. I am definitely going to make more of these bags, so thank you to Lexi for the instructions.

SO FUN! LOVE the little shaker tag you’ve added to your little bag! This was a FUN CHALLENGE & it helps to get ready for Christmas/OR Birthday in your case! LOL (It DOES take a lot of time to post things. People don’t always realize that when they pop into your blog! ) A SUPER JOB!!! 😉
