Hero Arts Monthly Kit
Today I am posting cards three and four from the Hero Arts March Monthly Kit.
I was reminded of the best crafting advice I ever received, while I was making card four. The late great Christy Riopel once told me, “If you don’t like it, it just isn’t done yet.” I can tell you that card four in its’ original 6 X 6 size was a hot mess…………….. I thought it was just plain “done” and destined for the big round file. Just like Christy predicted though, it just “wasn’t done YET.” When I trimmed it to a narrow panel and added a complementary background, it was a keeper.

I am loving the Monthly Hero Arts Kits. The large stamp set, that is just one part of the kit, provides a lot of inspiration. When you add in the dies and the add on selections that are available, the possibilities are endless.
I have a goal of making at least 10 cards in quick succession from each kit. While I haven’t finished yet, the first two cards turned out quite well. Take a look:
Happy St Paddy’s Day
Wait it is a new post on Maverick Muses! I cannot believe how time is flying these days. I have already started to think about going home to Canada, and yet, I also think I haven’t fully unpacked yet.
I always send St Patrick’s Day cards to a couple of my friends and so I thought it was a great opportunity to get a new post on the blog at the same time.
I failed to bring any St Patrick’s Day stamp sets with me and so I was limited to using the Wooly Lucky Stamp set that I recently got from Simon Says Stamp. It is a cute little stamp set with an Irish Llama and some punny sentiments.
