A Saskatchewan Stamp?????????
Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would own a crafting stamp set with the word Saskatchewan in it. But thanks to Wild Whisper designs, I now own one and just had to use it.
What better way to use it than on a double page layout about the Wheatland Express Excursion Train than operates out of Saskatchewan and has some enthusiastic involvement by my brothers.
My brothers are pictured in this layout in more ways than you would think. For example, take a look at The Joker and even Spike, the Mascot for the Wheatland Express Safety Train. Yup!
My older brother, Barry, has been “murdered” and had been the “murderer” in recent Murder Mystery excursions. He is the proud owner of a paycheque from the acting company who present the murder mysteries. Who knew my brother would find fame and fortune in such a way!
I am posting this today, on the occasion of my Mom’s 90th birthday. Next weekend, the whole family will be attending a birthday party on the Wheatland Express Train. It is so fitting, as that in addition to the two brothers pictured here, my Dad and my late brother, nephew, cousins and uncles were or are also railroaders.
