The August Monthly Hero Arts kit is all about Fantasy and Fairytales.  The theme is fun to work with as your imagination can run wild.  After all, no one is going to insist that your dragon be a particular colour, or that it has scales of a certain shape or indeed scales at all.

The Paper Layering Dragon is even more versatile than I first

thought.  You can add dimension just by using your flower moulding tools while keeping the overall shape in the card front.  You can take the dragon out of the background entirely, and poke up the scales for dimension.  You can die cut it out with or without the matching border die.  I ended up doing all of these techniques and liked all of the results.
