Spring Card Camp Day 4

Today’s tutorial is on using a window card to create two cards from one stamping session.  This technique requires using a stamp set for which you have matching dies.

I went looking through my “new” drawer, hoping to find something that I hadn’t used yet that would fit the bill.  I found what I was looking for in the My Monthly Hero Kit of December 2019.  I must admit that it wasn’t my favorite kit when it came out but its theme of taking care of the earth (and the people on it) has become nearer and dearer to my heart as this pandemic drags on.

I have to divide this post into two separate posts again, as it is necessary to show both the inside and outside of the first card on this post.  The next post will show the  second card resulting from “saving” the cut-out image from the first card.

Once again, I think these cards turned out well and has had the added benefit of me liking this Monthly Hero Kit more than I thought I did.

  2. This is a very powerful and unique take on the technique–I agree so much with you that it conveys such a meaningful message, during such difficult times.
