Coffee Lovers Bloghop Fall/Winter 2020 Day 8 Card # 4
Ok really, this is my last card. My co-poster (who is too crazy busy to post much these days) pointed out that one of the Snarky Cats from STamptember is holding a coffee cup. How could I not make a card with this. Making this card also gave me an opportunity to use this coffee bean stencil which was a prize for me from Casual Fridays in a previous Coffee Lovers Bloghop! (Thanks again)

Coffee Lovers Bloghop Day 8 Card # 3
I thought I had made my last coffee card for this bloghop, but yesterday in the mail I received the Picket Fence’s Sponsored by Coffee. This is the only stamp set that I ordered with the bloghop in mind, but I thought it wasn’t going to show up in time.
The card turned out well and the lovely plaid from Memory Box gives the card both a festive and masculine feel. Take a look:

This might be my last card due to time constraints. I do have another idea forming in my head so you never know.
Again a product was the inspiration for my card. The trifold background on the card is provided by a die called Anja’s Gate from Marianne Designs. I had already made four different sample cards for the Scrapendipity store with everything from a forest scene to a Christmas scene using this die, so I thought why not a Coffee scene.
One of the dies slipped a bit and is misaligned. Usually this is enough to send it to the big round file, but I have some things I have to get done and so I used it anyway.
Overall, it turned out well. The back of each of the screens is wide enough to hold a coffee card, so this might become someone’s Christmas present.

Nothing gets card ideas flowing for me like getting a new stamp or die. I always like the challenge of figuring out how to make the new product work with what I already have in my stash. The trend toward slimline cards has opened up a whole new stream of possibilities.
I have gathered a mini collection of over-caffeinated critters from The Rabbit Hole Designs. What can be better than one of these critters on a coffee card? The answer is three on them on a card using the Slimline Basics die set from Mama Elephant. This time the patterned paper is from Stampin Up. and Reminisce’s Coffee and Tea. Stickles, Neon Amplify, Enamel Accents and Trinity stamps Unicorn sequins provided the embellishments.

Coffee Lovers Bloghop Fall/Winter 2020 Day 7
Sometimes I think I will just make a quick card and get it posted in a few minutes. I don’t know who I am kidding because fast just isn’t in my wheelhouse.
Today’s card was supposed to be one of those 10 minute cards. I can tell you that I searched through my stash for a half hour just looking for the right embellishment to lift the flaps on the card. Never did find what I was looking for and know I have but these ones are ok, too. I was happy to use the little coffee cup paper clips from Doodlebug. I bought them because they were cute quite some time ago but they just never worked for what I was creating. The patterned paper is from Ciao Bella Buongiorno Italiano. I confess I had to buy a second pack of this paper before I could bring myself to cut into it. I also used some digital patterned paper that I won here in a previous Coffee Lover’s Bloghop. The flaps die is Lift the Flap from Lawn Fawn. The sentiment stamps are from Altenew and Neat and Tangled.
Coffee Lovers Bloghop Day 6
I enjoy taking what is not designed to be a coffee card and making it into a coffee card. A bonus is when I use a new stamp and die from my “new” drawer. An extra bonus is when the card can do double duty as both a Coffee Card and a Christmas Card. Yay!
The Santa is mad with Simon Says Stamp’s The Man, the Myth, the Legend stamp and die set. The paper is Freshly Brewed from Honey Bee. The star bucks logos reflected in Santa’s eyes is from some washi tape in my stash. I used the slit die from Lawn Fawn’s Let’s Toast to cut a slit for the coffee card behind the Santa image. Dressed up the Santa with Copic Markers, Stardust pen, Neon Amplify and Nuvo Crystal glaze.
Coffee Lovers Bloghop Day 5
I had the idea today to do a card with Santa Claus on it enjoying a cup of coffee before the big day. When you look at the card you will see I did a complete turn about. No Santa in sight.
while looking through my stash for a coffee cup that was sized for the Santa I wanted to use, I came upon this cocktail cart. It reminded me of the old coffee carts that used to come around to various offices at coffee time and the card was born.
The cart is from My Favorite Things. The patterned paper is from Honey Bee’s Freshly Brewed. The coffee/donut stickers are from Mrs Grossman’s and Doodlebug. The wood floor is from Penny Black (One of my most used supporting dies).
The sentiment stamp is from Crackerbox Palace. It has been used a lot as well, as it describes my situation often.

Coffee Lovers Bloghop Day 4
I am posting my fourth card for the Fall/Winter 2020 Coffee Lover’s Bloghop. The card will catch me up with my goal of one card for each day of the hop.
This card uses the leftover pieces from the last card to form a similar but different card. I used a lovely plaid patterned paper from Honey Bee’s new paper pad called Fresh Brew. Every sheet in this pad is wonderful. It is hard not to just hoard it.
Coffee Lovers Bloghop Day 3
I got the idea for this card as I was pouring my coffee this morning. I thought i could make it quickly before I got ready to go to work.
I think it turned out well, and card number 4 is already in the idea hopper using the leftover pieces from this one.
The slimline rectangle frame is from Trinity Stamps. The sentiment is from Technique Tuesday and the stickers are from Forever in Time.
Coffee Lovers Bloghop Day 2 Card
Well, I am trying to catch up on my card submissions for this bloghop. This card was fairly easy to put together. I have had this stamp for awhile, but couldn’t use it for the last coffee bloghop as I couldn’t justify the mittens in a summer themed bloghop. Well actually, I live in Canada so I could totally justify mittens in a summer themed hop. I can guarantee you that there is not a Canadian month safe from needing mittens.
The cable knit embossing folder is also an ancient item from my stash. Indeed, I have a much newer 3D cable knit embossing folder, but I liked the way this more subtle one lets the girl and the knit wrapped coffee be the stars of the show.
