Coffee Lovers Bloghop Fall/Winter 2021 Day # 8 Card 2

This is likely my last card for the hop. I like to make ten cards and I have another idea or two that is rumbling around inside my head so maybe………………..

This card uses once again the Coffee bundle from Erin Lee Creative. I have not used even half of the available elements in it so far. I thought the smaller coffee cup stamp might look nice painted with metallic watercolours, and so I started with that. When looking for a background to place the finished piece on, I found a scroll die from Penny Black. From that, I remembered a sentiment on the Coffee Mug Sayings stamp set from Impression Obsession that would go perfectly with the scroll.

Here is the resultant card.

Coffee Lovers Bloghop Fall/Winter 2021 Day # 8

For Day 8, I once again pulled out my Erin Lee Creative bundle. This time I used the image of the arms holding a cup of coffee. I envisioned two people meeting for coffee to discuss how to handle an emerging problem. Just changing the skin colour and the colour of the clothes disguises the fact that both images are the same.

Coffee Lovers Bloghop Fall/Winter 2021 Day # 7

Today, I am working with one of the stencils in the Erin Lee Creative Coffee bundle. This was a super easy card to make. I made the steam dimensional by using Vicki Boutin’s Creativefx through the stencil. The patterned paper is Fresh Brewed from Honey Bee Stamps. The sentiment on the cup is from Rubbernecker and is called In the Washer. Embelli’s are Cafe au Lait from Studio Katia.

Coffee Lovers Bloghop Fall/Winter 2021 Day # 6

For today’s card, I am using the Coffee House stamp and die from Colorado Craft Company. I have to say that I resisted buying this set, in the beginning, because I detest mice. I do, however, love Anita Jeram illustrations and so in the end, I bought it. The die set is amazingly intricate and cuts out and around the illustrations beautifully.

The stamp set seems to tell a whole story and so I decided to make the card a bit of a storyboard too!.

Enjoy:

Coffee Lovers Bloghop Fall/Winter 2021 Day # 5

For today’s card, I am once again pulling out my Coffee bundle from Erin Lee Creative. The patterned paper is from Daily Grind Colorplay. This was a quick card to make and turned out well.

Coffee Lovers Bloghop Fall/winter 2021 Day # 4

This past Saturday I attended a charity crop retreat to aid an animal rescue group. It was a ton of fun and it felt so nice to get out and mingle with like-minded people even if we still had to maintain masks and social distancing. Hey, that reminds me of something…………………when I was growing up a very common phrase people would use was, “I wouldn’t touch him/her with a six-foot pole”. Who knew that half a century later, we would actually need “virtual” six-foot poles to stay away from everyone else. Truth really is stranger than fiction.

Anyway, back to the topic of coffee and cardmaking, I made another card featuring the Paper Rose Background Scenes. I used the Tim Holtz Bear and his trusty Woodpecker friend. My eyes were quite bleary as it was late at night when I made the card. As a result, I think I lost the eyes and mouth pieces three times before I got the card together. When I did get it together though, it turned out to be quite cute.

Coffee Lovers Bloghop Fall/Winter 2021 Day 3

I have been using the Elizabeth Craft Designs Pizza Box die for several samples at the craft store where I work. I thought the Erin Lee Creative Coffee Lover die would be perfect for the lid of a pizza box. The pizza box could contain a coffee gift card. The patterned paper is from Stampin Up. The woodgrain mat is from Lawn Fawn. The coffee beans are Doodlebug Sprinkles. I would so love it if Doodlebug would bring out a set of sprinkles with just the coffee beans on it as I have stolen all of them off my coffee-themed Sprinkles for coffee bloghop cards over the years.

This project was a quick one.

Coffee Lovers Bloghop Fall/Winter 2021 Day 2

Today I am playing with a new to me stamp set from Trinity Stamps. It was a collaboration with the Coffee Loving Cardmakers and is called The Frappy Camper. Because food trucks have been all the rage especially during Covid, I thought it was a great stamp set to showcase.

The background is from a 6 X 6 paper pad from Paper Rose called Scene Backgrounds. All the other images are from The Frappy Camper stamp set from Trinity Stamps.

It turned out well and it was relatively quick to make the card.

Coffee Lovers Bloghop Fall/Winter 2021 Day 1

I always look forward to this bloghop. I am constantly on the lookout for coffee-themed stamps and dies that will coordinate with stamps and dies that I already have in my “Coffee Theme” stash. This go-round, I have several new sentiments and a stamp/die/stencil bundle that I want to use.

This Day 1 card was a surprise even to me. I bought “Edna” from Rubbernecker stamps because she reminded me of me. I didn’t even realize that she was holding a cup of coffee until today. I paired her up with a great sentiment from Impression Obsession and a bed from a stamp set from Trinity Stamps. I think the resulting card is really quite adorable.
