Sandra’s Card
When Sandra came down to visit me in Phoenix, she made two cards for me to put on the blog. I put one on the blog, but sent my laptop home in a car with a trunk that was bigger than a breadbox, before I got the second one published. I have a ToDo list that is about 30 items long right now, so I thought this was a good time to do a quick post with the other card.
Here it is:
Supplies: Doodlebug Cream & Sugar patterned paper, Simon Says Stamp Coffee and Tea stamp set, Cor’dinations cardstock,
Sandra’s Card
We seemed to be pretty busy doing other things when Sandra came down to El Mirage to visit, but we did manage to get a few cards made to justify the shopping spree at the Mesa Rubber Stamp Show.
Here is one of the cards that Sandra put together:
Supplies: My Favorite Things Llama Love, My Favorite Things Jumbo Peek a Boo Window die, My Favorite Things Stepped Up Chevron, DCWV No Prob-Llama patterned paper, Copic markers
Sandra and Deb Challenge
This was supposed to be two cards for the Papertrey Ink Bloghop Challenge. What I forgot though is that this is a one day challenge with that day being yesterday! Oh well, it is now just a Sandra and I Challenge.
Here is the inspiration photo:
Here is my card:
It is fairly obvious that I was inspired by the colour scheme and the bottle brush trees. I have to tell you that originally I had the penguin placed between the bear and the fox, but Sandra told me that it looked like the fox was farting on the penguin. Well of course, I had to change things up a bit.
Now here is Sandra’s card using the same inspiration photo. You will note that no one is farting on anyone else, BUT there is a giant icicle about to fall down and kill the bear! Just saying!
Supplies: Papertrey Ink Joyful Christmas and Warmest Wishes stamp set, Impression Obsession icicle. Sandra’s card is coloured with Copic Markers while mine is coloured with my super sized set of Prismacolor pencils that I got for Christmas and Gamsol.
My Favorite Things Colour Challenge
Sandra has found a few minutes between hockey games to make a card for this challenge.
The challenge is to use the suggested colours on the card entry. Here is the chart of colours to be used:
Now here is how Sandra took those colours and created a “delightful” and yet “frightful” card:
Supplies:
Copic Markers, Tim Holtz Distress Inks, Memento Ink, Pattern Paper (Recollection), Cardstock (Xpress It and Bazzill), Stamp Set (Lucky Dog and My Minds Eye) and 1” punch.
Sandra enters the MFT Sketch Challenge
Sandra has a made a super cute card using the sketch from the Sketch Challenge at My Favorite Things. There is a problem though……………….have you heard the expression …………a day late and a dollar short? Well we are all a dollar short, I think, but Sandra is also a day late with her entry. Entries closed yesterday at noon. She sent me this to post at 11:34 PM yesterday. So I can’t enter it into the challenge, but at least we can take a look at how cute it is.

Sandra gets Busy-My Favorite Things Challenge
Sandra wanted to enter the My Favorite Things Challenge but as usual her breakneck speed lifestyle did not allow for much crafting time. She managed to send me all three allowable entries for posting on the deadline day.
Today is a busy day for me as well. I am filling in at the super fantastic Scrapendipity store all day, so that the super fantastic owner and sidekick, Selena and Holly can take the fully loaded super fantastic Little Green Truck (Scrapmobile) out to the Scrapbook Carnival site at Spruce Meadows and get set up. The Scrapbook Carnival starts tomorrow and the theme is Super Heroes. The Scrapbook Carnival is a lot of fun, and Creative Scrapbooker who sponsers the Carnival give away a swag bag that rivals the one at the Oscars!!! Ok maybe I exaggerate just a little, but IT IS a gooder!
But I digress……………..Here is Sandra’s first entry:
