Coffee Lovers Bloghop Spring/Summer 2019 #4

Once more I have used the Ciao Bella Paper………………………..I must be reformed…………………so often I am loathed to cut in to and use up my favourite papers.  This time though the focal image and sentiment are from Altenew.

The sentiment makes me laugh out loud, as I am very conscientious about never running out of coffee.

Coffee Lovers Bloghop spring/Summer 2019

Once again time has flown by and it is time for the first Coffee Lovers bloghop of 2019.  I am always conscious of the next coffee bloghop coming up and look for new coffee stamps and patterned paper as a regular part of my craft supplies shopping.  I hit the jackpot this go-round with the exquisite Buongiorno Italiano collection from Ciao Bella.  It has both an elegant and a casual feel, so I think it will turn up on my cards several times this week.

I have used the Karen Burniston Coffee Cup pop-up before, but it is such a classic for giving a coffee card to someone that I had to use it again.  Just using different paper makes the card look fresh.  The only problem with this card is photographing it.  I confess to glueing the card front and back to my dining room table for the photo.  Don’t worry “no wood finish was harmed during the filming of this post”………..at least I hope not.

Here is the card inside and out:

The  Altenew sentiment says, “Coffee …when your brain needs a hug”.   Isn’t that so true.

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Summer 2017 Day 8

Today is the last day of the blog hop.  I recently got this sentiment stamp which pretty much sums up how I cope with life.   The ants not only convey summer, but the inevitability of  problems that either need to be dealt with or endured. That’s life, folks!

Supplies:  Verses Lots of Laughs stamp, Doodlebug Picnic Ants stickers, Simon Says stamp coffee die and Adult Beverages die set, Paperhouse At the Vinyard patterned paper,  Reverse Confetti All Framed up die, Lawn Fawn Make me smile die, Alideco washi tape, My Favorite things Abstract Art stamp set, Hero Arts Painted circle stamp,Simon Says stamp card base and Scor tape.

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Summer 2017 Day 7

I thought I was finished making cards for this blog hop, but wouldn’t you know………..another idea popped into my head and just wouldn’t leave.  Mercifully, the card came together much as it looked in my head with no real hitches.

I started thinking about a coffee card.. card (?) for three reasons.  First of all I am going on a cruise and was in the process of pre-ordering a coffee card so I would not have to drink the swill that they offer in most ship buffets.  Secondly I was thinking about turning several of the coffee cards I have made into gift card holders just to use them up sometime in my lifetime.  And finally, I had just gotten the Flip Up dies from Lawn Fawn’s latest release and wanted to take them for a test drive.

It took three photographs to show all the ways this card works.  Take a look:

Coffee Lover’s Blog Hop

I got a new  (to me) coffee stamp set specifically for the Coffee Lover’s Blog Hop.  It even came in the mail on time which is a miracle in itself.  Did I use it today, though?  No.  Why?  Because I also recently got the slider die set from Lawn Fawn and I am having so much fun with it, that I wanted to do a coffee card with it.  The size of the images on my Jane’s Doodles Coffee Time set were just the right size.

Here is the card…………………..prepare for CUTENESS OVERLOAD!
