Coffee Lovers Bloghop #5 Winter 2019

For today’s card, I used digital paper that I won in a previous Coffee Lover’s Bloghop.  I do apologize as I can’t remember which sponsor it was.  The coffee cup die is from Sugar Pea Designs.

The sentiment is from Gina Marie Designs.

Coffee Lovers Bloghop #4

A funny thing happened on the way to making this card.  On the weekend I attended a local Scrapbook Crop.  As usual, I took away too much stuff for a one day crop.  Anyway, I must have pulled a muscle in my neck loading and unloading totes full of supplies.  When I got up the next morning, my neck was incredibly stiff and sore, but hey, the cardmaking must go on.   I took a muscle relaxant and applied a heating pad and began crafting this card.  Well, don’t you know, I fell asleep with a full cup of coffee in my hand.  The coffee fell out of my hand and into my box of coffee stamps and dies.  Needless to say, that was quite a mess to clean up.  On the bright side, I do have a large box of authentic  Coffee “scratch n sniff” crafting supplies now.

I am happy to report that no cards were injured during this card-making session, and I was happy with this one.

Inside of card:

I apologize for the poor photography.

2018 Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Bloghop #5

Just a quick card today  as I got bogged down with a big project elsewhere,

Coffee Lovers Spring/Summer Bloghop 2018 Day 6 1/2

In my coffee stash I found a stamp set from Gina Marie Designs from which I had only used one image.  Gina Marie Designs got me thinking about Gina K and what fun I am having using her specialty foils.  I put the image from Gina Marie Designs together with the specialty foil from Gina K and I ended up with a a card that is both elegant and silly at the same time.

As usual, the camera doesn’t capture the brilliance of the gold foil on the coffee cup, but it looks wonderful in real life.

Winter Coffee Lovers Blohop 2017 Day 8

I can’t believe that it is the last day of the bloghop.  I feel like I am just starting to get some ideas flowing.  I still have a new coffee stamp set that I haven’t used.  Maybe, I will get a second card done later today.  Meanwhile, this one uses some different images from the Gina Marie Designs stamp sets that I got last week.

I used the tea cup this time and combined it with one of the “for all audiences” sentiments in the other stamp set.

Winter Coffee Lovers Bloghop 2017 – Day 5

I was not over my fascination with my new stamp sets from Gina Marie Designs.  I thought that the sentiment I used in this card describes I how I feel about coffee in the morning.

Winter Coffee Lovers Bloghop 2017 – Day 4

I was sitting at my computer today when an email came in, informing me that my stamp sets from Gina Marie Designs had been delivered.  I laughed out loud because  1) I just ordered them last week (I am in Canada and delivery is routinely two weeks) and 2) it was Sunday.  Imagine my surprise when I went to the mailbox and there was a shiny foil envelope from Gina Marie Designs.  I have never received an emergency delivery of stamp sets ever before.   It was really a pleasant surprise.

Anyway,  I immediately started thinking about how I could use them for the bloghop.  It was Amy who posted about these amazing stamp sets and did warn me that they were somewhat snarky and off beat.  Some of the sentiments are a bit out there, but I love them.  I picked out the more moderate stamp set and made this gatefold card.

I was going to add my own sentiment to the front of the card that would have said, “Morning grounds rules” but it was too late at night to pull out the gazillion tiny pieces alphabet stamp set that I  would have needed to do so.
