Happy Valentine’s Day!
Thank goodness that it is Valentine’s Day, because I couldn’t use “Where doe the time go? …again…….even though it is very appropriate.
I once again had big plans to send some Galentine cards to my gal friends………..even bought two stamp sets that specifically said “Happy Galentine’s Day”. Alas, it did not happen.
I did make this card for my male Valentine friend but did not get it in the mail on time either. The stamp set is a layering set from Hero Arts and the yummy looking chocolate sauce is Vintage Nuvo drops from Tonic Studio. The waffles and strawberries are so realistic looking, it is making me want to head out to IHop.
And even more Valentines
Here is a couple more Valentine cards:
Card 1 Supplies: Ellentina Coyote die, Crate Paper Kiss Kiss patterned paper, DCWV foil cardstock, Coredinations cardstock, SSS cardbase and Scor tape.
Card 2 Supplies: Hero Arts February Monthly Kit, Copic markers, Stickles, Pico Embellisher, DCWV glitter cardstock, SSS cardbase and Scor tape.
More Valentines
I made some more Valentine’s Day cards that came together quite easily and I really like. I picked up some individual sheets of paper from Scraps of Love that were just so cute for Valentine’s Day. The problem for me is that I like my cake and to eat it too. If I use the individual sheets of paper up, then I don’t have them anymore, and that makes me sad. What a dilemma! Just another first world problem that I have……………….poor me!
These papers are from Pebbles and Crate Paper:
Supplies:
Card 1: Rubbernecker Peanut Butter stamp, Crate Paper Heart Day paper, fun foam, Scor tape, Memory Box Cross Stitched Hearts
Card 2: Ellentina Cutting dies Cactus, Crate Paper Heart Day patterned paper, fun foam, Wink of Stella glitter pen, My Favorite Things Rectangle dies, Stampin D’Amour Southwest Silhouette Stamp
Card 3 Simon Says Stamp Curvy Heart die, Pebbles patterned paper, DCWV metallic cardstock, Casual Fri-die Love Ya, Scor tape, Simon Says Stamp card base
Valentine’s Day is coming
I am working on some Valentine’s cards for, you guessed it, my valentines. Unlike my failure to bring Papertrey Ink stuff to Arizona, I seem to be well stocked with Valentine’s Day stamp sets. The challenge will be to use them all.
First of all, I have had a cute little die from Sugar Pea Designs for a while and was itching to use it. It is tiny but impactful. I kept the rest of the card simple to make it stand out.
