You’re My Paradise
Today is the reveal of the new Hero Arts Monthly Kit. This month’s kit is so appealing to me because it has a lake, a dock, a forest and mountains. All of these images describe my life for many years, so I am anxious to have this arrive in my mailbox in the near future.
In the meantime though, I am also taken by the June kit which has already arrived in my mailbox. It has a jungle theme, which clearly does not depict my life in Canada, but it is equally appealing. I started out intending to make a card with the Leopard image, but in the end, opted for a few of the smaller images, and made the card more of a Hawaii card. I am always happy when I am able to use something from my “new” drawer as well. In this case, it was both my small and large Wreath Builder Templates from Gina K.
I think the card turned out well, even though there is no Leopard anywhere in sight.
I am also contemplating making a card with the snake that is in the June kit, but I hate and fear snakes almost as much as I hate and fear “dust bunnies”! (Really, “dust bunnies” totally creep me out and I can’t touch them without a paper towel in my hand). I could give the snake card to my granddaughter as she actually has a snake as a pet. Ok, it is settled………………………..my next card will have a snake, a leopard and maybe a “dust bunny” on it. I will face all my fears in one go! LOL.
